HostHum Terms of Service

The short version: HostHum is provided as-is. You are responsible for the hosts you monitor and your network configuration.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using HostHum ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

HostHum is a macOS menu bar application for monitoring the availability of user-configured hosts via HTTP/HTTPS. It is published by 1507 Systems (BPS Enterprises LLC).

HostHum, including its design, code, and branding, is the intellectual property of BPS Enterprises LLC. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or create derivative works from the App except as permitted by applicable law.

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL 1507 SYSTEMS OR BPS ENTERPRISES LLC BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

In particular, 1507 Systems is not liable for any damages resulting from failure to detect host outages or delayed alerts.

You may stop using HostHum at any time by uninstalling it. 1507 Systems reserves the right to discontinue the App or any feature at any time without prior notice.

9. Changes to Terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. The effective date at the top will be changed when updates are made. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
